watering words, 2022–ongoing
Watering Words is based on the concept of hydrofeminism - the idea of connectedness and solidarity between different bodies of water.
Launched in early 2022, the project is an ongoing dialogue between three artists (Joanna Gruntkowska, Małgorzata Suś and Kristina Feldhammer) and different bodies of water in their respective environments (each of the artists is based in a different country). It takes the form of a long-term exchange of poems, audio or visual material that continuously responds to each other and aims to create an environment in which different waters and artistic expressions enter into dialogue with each other.
Since August 2022, the project has been expanded by weekly online workshops and discussion rounds open to anyone who is interested.
